Good location. The amenity fee $25 per day covered 2 water bottles and seemed excessive. There is no coffee in room and the complimentary lobby coffee is only in the morning. We requested hypoallergic bedding at booking due to asthma and allergy and this was ignored. The property is advertised as pet friendly but may be the only one in the vicinity as we saw several dogs and cats daily and there were pet stains on the carpet in the hallway. I stayed based on a recommendation but in future there are many properties nearby that might be a healthier option for us.

Excellent location, friendly staff, great room with views

Honestly -pass on this “level” there are way nicer hotels in Seattle with customer service and dining for the same price. Many hidden fees. You need to keep your key card out indefinitely it was extremely burdensome- couldn’t pass any door and don’t get me started on the maze of elevators. The amenities were scattered completely randomly with different elevators and different floors to access each one-horrible layout for children. There is zero customer service. One tiny marketplace for junk food otherwise bring anything you want to eat or drink with you apparently and they will not bring anything to your room if you order through DoorDash. The front desk staff acted like any request was such an imposition-couldn’t get a map of the layout, extra towels, “we don’t have water there’s a fountain down here if you want”, dragging my 2 kids everywhere-I nearly left the first day. Main vibe was young kids 20s partying and not caring there’s no food or staff maintaining the rooms at all. Not suitable for relaxing or vacationing with children.

At a time in the morning when the Mediterranean Inn lobby was abuzz with activity, people and luggage in its lobby, staff met my party curbside just as we stepped out of our taxi. They immediatelym took charge of our bags and expedited our check-in. That kind of attention to detail was emblemmatic of how we were treated for the rest of our stay. Additionally, the property has a beautifully appointed and well maintained spacious rooftop with a fantastic water view. But beyond the view, an abundance of flowering plants, handsome patio furniture and outdoor heaters for cooler weather all made the roof experience memorable for the couples and groups enjoying it. As I ended myn stay, I passed a staff member at a podium adjacent to the hotel's vestibule and asked if I couls have one of the pens available there. He said yes and as I turned to get in my waiting taxi, he stopped me to give me one of the hotel's pens with a minute (extremely small) cap over the point of the pen because he wanted to make sure that I left with a pen that had never been used. Wow! My stay ended just as it had started with the Mediterranean Inn treating me as its most valued guest. From start to finish, the Mediterranean Inn through its staff, decor, maid service, gym, coffee station, rooftop, etc. focused intensedly on its guests.
